Thanks for the review. It is a mish-mash of flavors and styles – Weizen yeast for banana and vanilla notes; Escazu chocolate. Think of it as a sessionable chocolate brown ale.
If your frame of reference is judging it as a porter or a stout, you shall indeed be underwhelmed (as you were). I think of it this way: it’s called “lunch” for a reason…
